Hundreds of dancers from 148 villages in Buleleng exhibiting graceful dance at the opening of Buleleng Festival. The opening was so gloriously rousing.
Teruna Jaya Dance performances held along Jalan Ngurah Rai Singaraja, Friday (23/08/2013). A total of 300 dancers danced the Dance Terunat Jaya, creation of original art maestro Buleleng, Gede Manik.
Focus spectators and VIPs, they come on the stage of honor, instantly turning to Jalan Ngurah Rai.
One by one the VIP guests and residents crammed into the curb Ngurah Rai, thus making the security forces overwhelmed so as not to interfere with the course of the colossal dance.
Buleleng Festival Committee Chairman, Gede Suyasa, confirmed that colossal dance festival Teruna Jaya were held to revive the arts and cultural identity of Buleleng. Moreover, Teruna Jaya Dance is a dance that is known to the rest of Bali.
"Initially there was difficulty in ordering clothes, because the supply is limited. But we tried to look for those clothes all over the garments in Bali, we got 300 clothes and we use it all. Thankfully it could run smoothly," said Suyasa.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Buleleng Putu Agus Suradnyana said, Buleleng Festival is an art and culture event represented the North Bali region, in order to be more widely known again.
"It would be a tourist agenda that could attract foreign and domestic tourists. Also the origin of Buleleng residents who work outside the region and beyond Bali are definitely interested in coming to," said Agus.
